This was this last Friday! I went on a trip with Justin to Texas over a week and a half ago and I swear when I left for the trip I didn't look like this.... but over the time I was there and when I came back I 'blossomed' (as Cody, Justin's brother, has been so graciously putting it to people)! 9 1/2 more weeks to go until we get to meet the little guy!! Whohoooa! We are getting very excited!

P.S. I feel like constantly hungry all the time now!! Even when I wake up in the middle of the night! I think the little guys appetite has been growing! Lol!

Family reunions, California for Crew's baby blessing,

we had the Hyde Financial Group Economic Summit in Star valley and we are currently getting ready for the Cast and Blast Challenge Hyde Financial Group is Sponsoring in Star Valley.

Oquirrh Mountain Temple celebration with the youth,

working at the temple open house (Justin and I got to clean tents in between groups and check on the bathrooms--that is dedication, jk),

and finally the temple dedication last Sunday!

Girl's Camp...well more like girl's retreat, with swimming pools, horseback riding, catered food!

The usual upkeep at the Hyde Hotel with our many guests that come through from all over almost every weekend!

Hyde Girl's weekend with fun O'rderves, favorite things and showering Hannah and Ashley's coming babies!

Justin's trip to Alaska which means yummy halibut for the whole year!

82 year old Grandmother's graduation from BYU with a Bachelor's in English...I know she is amazing there really isn't a word to describe it.

And last but not least....we moved this weekend! (Stay posted for more details!) I know it is kind of crazy, but we sold our house and found a place we really liked over in Holladay!

Summer time joys!

I am ready for summer even if the weather can not decide what to do. Here are a few things that I am excited to try this summer.

I have decided I want to get a lemon tree. I think it would be perfect behind my corner sink while it is small! I love fresh lemons and would use them a lot in my cooking.

I would love to try an herb garden. I have the perfect spot behind my sink for pots of fresh basil, parsley, oregano, rosemary, thyme, dill and whatever else I decide I would cook with. Oh I can already smell the wonderful aromas in my house!

I am also looking forward to picking fresh peaches from an orchard and canning them. My mom came and taught me how last summer and they are so delicious. I am going to try and do it on my own this summer! And someday I would love to plant some peach trees of my own in my yard!

My mom also helped me make all sorts of jams: strawberry, raspberry and peach. Nothing compares to homemade jam....I am definitely doing this again and probably picking fresh raspberries from Justin's house in Star valley. Who knows maybe we will take a few bushes and transplant them into our garden!!!

Along with fresh homemade salsa I am going to try and bottle salsa. My sister-in-law Marie did it this last summer and it was so good. Let's just say I was kind of a little stingy on sharing the bottle she gave me. So I will have to make lots this summer. It is wonderful to have on hand when you don't have time to make it fresh!

I am so excited to try some new things and it will be fun to pull out a little summer when the winter months hit again!! I got all of the wonderful pictures from google images and will be taking some of my own this summer as I try all of these fun things.

He literally just "cruised" right out! Leisa had about 50 minutes of labor with barely enough time to get her to the hospital and Josh made it from work just as the baby was coming out! We are so excited to meet him. Congrats Josh, Leisa, Kadie and Laney. (I think Leisa looks just amazing in the pic...it does not look like she had a baby!)

I am afraid to take it again just in case I don't do so well.

Our crazy life of cars!!!!

Have you ever thought that your luck couldn't get worse with something? Well I am not going to exactly say that because I do not want to curse myself but let me just share our vehicle situation over the past 1-1/2 years.

Some of you may recognize this was my first car in college the lovely Suzuki Esteem. Well Justin and I had visions of driving this car to the ground it only had like 50,000 miles. In the Fall of 2007 Justin was driving it one day and it completely broke down he barely made it home. We took it in to be repaired and it was going to cost as much as it was worth. So we decided to donate it to a kidney foundation. Well, we thought it was long gone and one day I was driving to my Grandmother's in down town and I saw a white car with tons of parking tickets piled onto it just on the road next to the shop we had taken ours too. I thought to myself 'sucker'...cause Justin got tons of parking tickets that summer during the time we lived downtown with Grandma and it stunk. I glanced again in my rear view mirror and it dawned on me that it was our old car!!! So I went to Grandma's and was going to go check it out on my way home. Well on my way home the car was gone. It had been towed. I called Justin and we called and sure enough our car had hit the 10 ticket limit and was towed. We had no idea that the kidney foundation had not picked it up. We called and tried to work something out with the city but I think they ended up making us pay like $1000 and they auctioned our car off.

At that time we also had Justin's audi. The funny thing about this is that it had a horribly cracked windshield and Justin will only get them fixed once a year because they crack so much. So I called and we finally had someone come and fix it. The day the windshield repair man came I had parked the car out in the driveway and he wanted to fix it in the garage and I went to start it and it wouldn't do anything. So he ended up fixing it outside and we had to get a couple of guys later to push it into the garage and it is still sitting in that same garage stall waiting to be fixed.

Our next car Justin told me he bought for me "but we all know the truth to that"! This was by far our favorite car. We ended up selling it just this last October because the snow was coming and it was rear wheel drive. I have totally had sellers remorse since. But we were trying to go for something a little more economical. The corvette engine in it made our gas mileage worse then our truck.

Our search for a economical car that would be functional for a family led us to this Toyota Camry. We were very excited about this purchase and got even more excited the more we drove and the less we had to fill it with gas. Well on December 13th at 8:30AM I was taking my brother and his girlfriend to the airport and I was stopped at a stop light and a drunk driver crashed into the back of me going about 50 MPH. He pushed me into the car ahead of me and them into the car ahead of them. The airbags deployed and everything... it was totaled. Let's just say when I pulled off the road parts were dragging underneath that should not be. Well the car is still in the tow yard and it has been the biggest hassle figuring everything out. It opened our eyes about drunk driving and how inconsiderate it is and how many people it affects. The police said that everyone in the accident had their seat belts on... which is pretty amazing. The good is that no one was seriously injured.

That brings us to our last working vehicle! Which of course it couldn't stay all in tact. This morning Justin went to the gym at 5:30AM like always and he parked and was almost to the door and heard a loud crash. The parking lot was so slick this morning. He looked and thought it might have been the truck. He saw the driver that crashed taking off so he thought he had better check and so he ran and saw that it was his truck that was hit and he ran so fast slipping and falling several times on the concrete trying to beat the driver to the exit! He luckily made it first and waived the driver down. The driver was totally hitting and running! Justin said the kid was around 20 and just totally scared. Justin gave him a good talking too teaching him a little bit about taking responsibility and not being a dead weight in society and such. He also made it clear of what kind of trouble he could have him in if he called the cops and told them he was fleeing the scene. Of course he did it all very nicely and did not call the cops. He talked to the kids mom and she was totally nice and so it ended up being ok. So I guess we are lucky that it happened before Justin was inside the gym. But it is just another crazy story to add on to our crazy life of cars!

The Holidays!!

Christmas in Starvalley!

We had fun playing in the snow at Justin's for Christmas. We made a sledding hill and Marie and Dain brought their snowmobiles to pick everyone up at the bottom of the hill! We also had fun dragging everyone behind our razor! I love this picture...of Melissa and Marie. Melissa looks all posed and Marie, well she just looks terrified! It was so fun to get together with everyone, playing games, and eating wonderful food. We had such a wonderful Christmas... thank you Hyde's for all of your love and generosity.

New Year's in California!!

After Christmas my family met up in Southern California! We had so much fun strolling on the beach, hitting the rides at Knottsberry farm, shopping (we seem to always find good deals and without fail we found a store closing with all of their purses and everything from $1-$5!!!!), the boys had fun golfing, the girls getting there nails done, hitting the after Christmas sales at target, and having Christmas all over again when we got there! But most of all it was just so much fun hanging out with the whole family, catching up on everything and playing games. We also had the neatest opportunity of everyone going and doing sealings in the Newport beach temple. There where so many memories made and Justin and I feel so lucky to be in two wonderful families!

Fun with the entire Hyde clan!

Justin's sister surprised everyone and came down from Kansas City with her four little boys! So we all went to Starvalley to see them and decided sense the whole family was together to throw Justin's mom a surprise 50th birthday party. This was the initial shock...she had no clue!

Afternoon Tea

This week I went and had afternoon tea at the Grand America to celebrate my friend Natalie's birthday! I would recommend this to everyone! It is served in the elegantly sophisticated Lobby Lounge of the Grand America Hotel with rich furnishings and breathtaking views of the courtyard. The delicate music compliment the sweet, pastries, rich tortes and cakes being served, giving the experience a distinctively classic European ambiance. I had this delicious Coconut Almond hot chocolate and would recommend this experience to everyone for only $16.

Snow?

Justin and I were down in Starvalley at a cabin two weekends ago and we got our first snow fall for the winter. We luckily left Wyoming Saturday night because they ended up getting 16 inches and there was only a little bit of snow when we got home to Salt Lake which soon disappeared! Can you believe it! Spencer and Debbie called and had to remind me that it was going to be about 70 degrees where they were in California! Lucky!

What's up with the Hyde's

I know, I know, I have been slacking! So here is kind of a brief overview of everything we have been up to for the last little while!

Elder Waldron V is home!!! Justin and I flew in to Seattle 15 minutes before he got in, and sense we were already back there we ran to his terminal and surprised him right outside of the gate! Some of you may not know but my parents went to pick Sam up from his mission and after their plans were arranged they found out Sam's visa expired 2 days before they were supposed to come home. So sense they couldn't change anything we were Sam's welcome home crew until my parents returned from Australia! Also, the Elder's are living with my parents right now, and when we got home the Elder's had decorated the house with a sign and balloons and streamers! It was so fun to see him and we were there for him to get released and to report to the high council and for his talk in church! It was an amazing weekend and we are so proud of Sam and for his growth and for what an amazing missionary he was!

The Utah Family at a going away party for Jake, Andrea, little Morgan, and Spencer and Debbie who were all getting ready to move to California! What's with that almost everyone is in Cali now! We are going to miss you guys so much! It has been so fun living close! We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Newport over New Years!

We love it so much when the Veigel's visit from Kansas City! We had so much fun camping with all of the Hydes! Here is Justin and his nephew Hyden on the razor!

We were so excited to have Josh, Leisa, Kadie, and Laney all come and stay and visit us! We have so much fun with you guys!!! Here is everyone outside at the BBQ we had to celebrate them coming to visit! I didn't get that many great photos, I think I was too busy watching Leisa have so much fun with her new camera! We had a blast with you here and can't wait to see you soon!

There comes a time in everyones life when they must switch from using as many candles as the age they are to using just the numbers that say their age. This age is usually when you have outgrown the single 24 pack of candles you can buy and is usually a good reminder that maybe you are too old for a birthday cake!

On Monday June 16th we celebrated Justin's 27th birthday. We still had a cake even though he has been past this switch for a couple years! I made him a special meal and we had a fun time! He is a wonderful man and I am so lucky to have him in my life. It was fun to have a day to celebrate him because sometimes he does so much for everyone he doesn't ever get to do anything for himself!

Baby Morgan Elaine Waldron!

Our newest niece was born June 11th weighing 6 lbs. 12 oz. and 19 inches long!

Justin and I were so excited and lucky enough to see her that night! She is so cute and I just loved holding her!!! She didn't have a name for a couple days but that first night we were all voting on our favorites and Grandma kept kissing her and calling her little 'Morgan' (obviously that was her favorite because it is Grandma's last name!) It was so cute, and that must have been what suited her the best because that is what they named her!!!

Congratulations Jacob and Andrea! We are so excited for you guys!

Fun in the Sun!!!

We finally had our honeymoon / graduation celebration / 2nd honeymoon (sense we were moving back in with each other!)

We had such a good time. But the best part was we didn't have cell phone service! It was just Justin and I and some remote islands in the Caribbean!

We lived each day as a new adventure and never really decided what we were going to do until we went out and explored. I will just give you some of the highlights of the trip. At our first island we almost missed the boat, of all 3,500 people on the ship Justin was the first one they asked to be in a belly-flop competition, we just trusted the locals and had them take us to some pretty remote places on the islands! But that is how we found some AMAZING beaches!!

Ok, ok, I guess I will tell you the story about almost missing the boat! So we went snorkeling with some turtles and we were just hanging out at this beautiful beach waiting for our taxi driver to come back for us. Rule number one, never trust a taxi driver to come back for you. Sense the boat didn't leave until 8pm the previous night Justin had it in his head that the ship wasn't leaving until 8pm again. I (being the responsible one that I am) told Justin that we had better start thinking about a way back. I thought we were pretty close to the ship though. When I looked in our pamphlet and realized when the boat was leaving Justin went to the store on the beach and had her call a taxi right away. When we got in the taxi we told him our situation and he started swearing and said this was serious stuff. He said that to get to the next island it would be $700 for the both of us and only a 18 minute flight. We were lucky to have him as our driver because he was driving like a crazy man trying to get us there and he was trying to get a hold of the ship and tell them to wait for us. Well we cruised in and he dropped us off and the police had held the ship for us. So we ran the entire length of the ship....(Justin had broken a toe earlier mind you). You may not think this is a long run. But it was quite the run... in the middle of it I turned to Justin and told him I didn't think I was going to make it! He told me I had better, he was the one with a broken toe. All the while, everyone on the ship was watching from above taunting us! Well, we luckily made it at 5:28. The boat was going to leave at 5:30 and you are supposed to be boarded 30 minutes prior to departure. We were very lucky and made sure to give our taxi driver a large tip. Now we can just laugh about it and how good of a show we put on for everyone on board! I will tell you after that, we made sure to be plenty early everyday!

The Ending is Only the Beginning

I finally did it! I finally graduated from college! Some may have thought it would never really happen considering all odds were against me and I was attending school in a different state then I lived. But I made it through traveling up to Rexburg every Sunday night and returning home to Salt Lake Thursdays or Fridays. Cody, Melissa and Maya were nice enough to put up with me living with them during the week. And Justin was nice enough to put up with only having me home on the weekends.

It is crazy that this chapter is finally closed in my life.

I have learned so much and have so many wonderful memories, but I am excited to see what else life brings.
